Adibox

Interface Adimuse online applications with the real world

Adimuse/Adibox : Interface Adimuse online applications with the real worl

 Project genesis

Web technologies do not always make it possible to offer performances in line with the expectations of the musical world. Also, for security reasons, it is not always possible to interface with the devices connected to the computer.

These observations appear recurrently as a sticking point in projects. We have therefore developed this module which opens up the field of possibilities and allows external systems to interact with Adimuse's web applications in a simple and secure way.

Adibox is a basic building block used by several current and future Adimuse Labs projects.

 Overview

The Adibox is a standalone external box that allows Adimuse's online applications to interface with the real world.

The Adibox connects to your internet network (operator box, wifi connection sharing, etc.) and creates a WIFI sub-network on which your classic devices (PC, tablet, smartphone) connect.

The peripherals are connected to the Adibox via wired (USB, GPIO, etc.), Wifi or Bluetooth.

Your Adimuse applications detect the presence of the Adibox and adapt without any manipulation on your part. They are then enriched with specific features dedicated to this environment and can communicate securely with the Adimuse devices connected to the box.

 Objectives

    • To offer a simple and secure communication system to interact with Adimuse's web applications,
    • To guarantee coherence and adaptation to future needs,
    • Facilitate and accelerate the development of new projects.
